The Story
Everyone does lifted kei trucks. I wanted to go the other direction. Found a Sambar with the factory supercharged EN07 — 55hp in a 1,600lb truck is genuinely fast on mountain roads. Lowered it, put on some period-correct Enkei wheels, and kept the JDM aesthetic with original Japanese accessories. It turns more heads than my buddy's Miata at cars and coffee. The rear-engine, 4-cylinder layout gives it a baby-Porsche character that's addictive.
